A Slice of Life

Today was quite an interesting day. It started off with the creamy aroma of coffee beans being churned and turned into a silky smooth brew that quenched the sweet thirst that i been craving. Then, the rummaging of clothes all over the place just to find the perfect outfit, turned into a complete whirlwind of frustration until I found the right one. After getting dressed and applying the necessary amount of makeup i decided to go for a walk at the nearby park. When i went i noticed a couple. Their tension was obvious but the love permeated the air. i wondered what the issue was but didn't have too much time to think over it when the man suddenly dropped to one knee and proposed to her, but before he did he stated "i know that we have been fighting a lot over these past couple of years but being down here on this one knee, i know that i want you to be my wife and the mother of my child forever, because there's no other person that can takeover that aspect of the job better than you." After i heard those sweet passionate words, i knew for sure that the young woman was going to say yes. But, to my surprise she walked away with tears in her eyes. That really blew my mind because he was distraught. but i never wondered about it anymore because whats done is done. That's how the day went.
